Daily and Seasonl Ayurvedic Routines for Wellness (Dinacarya and Ritucarya)
Dinacharya is a Sanskrit word derived from two root words: “dina” meaning day and “acharya” meaning behavior or regimen. Dinacharya, therefore, means daily routine or regimen. In yoga and Ayurveda, there is much emphasis places on healthy habits developed in accordance with the time of day and time of year. In this workshop we will come to understand how simple, routine practices can bring more enjoyment, peace, and improved health into our lives.
This workshop will encourage awareness of your daily and seasonal patterns and habits. Over time, many of us have developed routines and habits not so beneficial to our bodies and minds. It is not uncommon to feel scattered as we rush through daily activities or to feel exhausted at the end of the day, only to go to bed feeling anxious and restless. Ayurveda offers profound methods for changing these habits and living a more balanced, effective life.
