Massage Cupping
Taught by: Annie Garic
Date: October 24-26, 2008
Class Description: In this weekend workshop, you will become certified in the art of the Massage Cupping (TM) technique. Massage Cupping helps to "separate" layers of fused, congested soft tissue. This brings better water absorption and renewed blood flow to undernourished and dehydrated tissues. Cupping enhances the benefit of massage, decreases strain on the practitioner, and increases revenues through "add-on" service. It feels good and it's fun to do!
Annie Garic has been interested in health and well-being her entire life. She graduated with a BS degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of New Orleans and a MA degree in Physical Education from Southern Methodist University. She then taught H&PE for ten years. In 1988 she began her study and practice of therapeutic massage. Annie has been a teaching assistant with Advanced Continuing Education since 2004 and in 2007 became a Certified Massage Cupping(TM) Educator.
